
Our 7th biennial awards will be on Saturday 1st July 2023 at Twickenham Stadium, in Twickenham, south-west London, England, is a rugby union stadium owned by the Rugby Football Union, English rugby union governing body, which has its headquarters there. The England national rugby union team plays home matches at the stadium.
Since the pandemic between January 2020 and September 2022, DSPY Awards has been delayed till the announcement from the World Health Organisation, WHO. Therefore our 7th biennial awards will present to the Winners 2020 and 2022 that night.
There are three consideration options for you to bid as follows
1) Bid for the winner 2020 per category
2) Bid for the winner 2022 per category
3) Bid both for the winners 2020 and 2022 per category
This prestigious award is given to a sport person whose contributions, achievements and personality, have made a lasting impression on the visibility of deaf athletes and deaf sports
1st (From £500 per award bid)
2nd (From £400 per award bid)
3rd (From £300 per award bid)
This is a special award honouring someone who has made a major impact on the world of sport in his or her lifetime.
(One award from £450 bid).
This will be awarded to the Deaf or Hearing coach who has made the biggest impact in Deaf sports every two years.
(One award from £400 bid).
This award is for the UK Home Nations or Great Britain team (more than ONE player in a team) which has achieved the most notable performance in Deaf/Mainstream sports every two years
(One award from £400 bid).
This will be awarded to the outstanding young sportsperson aged 18 or under during the end of the year 31st December per biennial awards.
(One award from £400 bid).
This award is presented to a sports club that has made a significant impact on or contribution to the development of sport within the Community and Regional (One award from £350 bid).
This award will be given to the foreign sportsman, woman or a team who has made the greatest impression in the world of sport every two years. (One award from £350 bid).
This award recognises those who selflessly devote their voluntarily time with no financial reward and efforts to enabling others to play and enjoy sport every two years. (One award from £350 bid).
This award recognises media work to engage sport fans that has a positive impact on individuals or society, to increase awareness, compassion, and conversation around the topic by leveraging the power of deaf/mainstream in sports. This can include online, social media or TV, to transform the way around audience engagement levels using Sign Language, Subtitles or other access in the UK.
(One award from £300 bid).
This award recognises media work to engage sport fans that has a positive impact on individuals or society, to increase awareness, compassion, and conversation around the topic by leveraging the power of deaf/mainstream in sports. This can include online, social media or TV, to transform the way around audience engagement levels using Sign Language, Subtitles or other access in the Worldwide. (One award from £300 bid).
